Beaded Necklace with Slider “Carousel”

Description

The Carousel necklace is a unique piece beaded with a lot of care.

It started out as a simple dark green necklace. I beaded the rope with seed beads, then for an extra spark, started adding a layer of Czech glass beads with a special vitrail coating to reflect changing colors as the necklace moves around the neck.  The beaded slider is the center piece, featuring shiny bicones in a more earthy olive green.

As all my beaded jewellery, this necklace is very light and flexible.

Materials: High-quality Japanese Miyuki seed beads, Preciosa crystal bicones and Czech fire polished glass beads
